How We Work

Kate Smyth Davis, founder of Meraki People, in a working advisory session with a client

Every engagement is different. Most clients come to us with a specific presenting problem - a team that isn't working, a founder who needs a sounding board, a leadership structure that hasn't kept pace with growth. We start there, and we go at the pace the business needs.

We don't do off-the-shelf programmes or prescribe solutions before we've understood the business. We listen, diagnose, and work alongside you until the change sticks.

What We Work On

Meraki People works across the full range of people and organisational challenges that affect scaling businesses.

Engagements are tailored to your situation, not packaged in advance.

  • Board advisory and governance

  • Organisational design and restructure

  • Leadership bench strength assessment

  • Senior leadership team effectiveness

  • Succession planning and founder exit readiness

  • Executive team development and away days

  • People due diligence for investment or acquisition

  • Culture development and change management

  • Psychometric diagnostics (5 Voices, Myers-Briggs)

  • Keynote speaking and facilitation

How Engagements Typically Work

Some clients come to us for a single event: a facilitated away day, an organisational diagnostic or targeted coaching for the CEO.

Others arrive with a specific project: a leadership restructure, a pre-investment people review, a post-merger integration. Those typically run for anywhere between three and twelve months.

A number of our clients have been with us for years. The work evolves as the business does. We become part of the furniture, in the best possible way.

We work with founder-led businesses across the UK, typically turning over between £3M and £100M. If you're not sure whether we're the right fit, the best place to start is a conversation.
